Satriyo is a Business and Human Rights (BHR) Programme Coordinator with more than ten years professional experience. He has extensive
experience in conducting human rights assessment in the extractive industry
such as mining, pulp & paper, forestry and fishery industries.
Since 2012, Satriyo has been involved in
developing the business and human rights certification standard. He also has
been conducted a witness audit of the Human Rights certification process in
fisheries industry in Indonesia.
In 2015, he became a team member on the
drafting process of the Ministerial Regulation of Marine and Fisheries
regarding Management System and Certification of Human Rights in the fishery
industry that was signed and launched by the Minister on 10 December 2015.
Satriyo was also involved in cooperation
with the city of Bandung on the development of Bandung Human Rights City, which
being the first audited human rights city in Indonesia. This cooperation is
committed to embedding the values of human rights in Bandung and making the city
government of Bandung the main actor in the fulfilment of the rights of Bandung
citizens.
Satriyo has also attended the training for
ISO 9001 & 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification.
In
2016, Satriyo became a trainer of Business and Human Rights for the officials
of the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. as
well as training provided to companies.
